Dulux PU (Polyurethane) Lacquer is an easy to use, one pack solvent based gloss lacquer with high quality and excellent durability.

Application Description

Apply 3-4 coats of Dulux Woodcare PU Lacquer and leave for 16 hours between coats

Health & Safety

Highly Flammable. In case of fire use foam, dry powder, AFFF, CO2 fire extinguisher. Never use water. No smoking. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from sources of ignition. Keep container tightly closed and upright to prevent leakage when not in use CONTAINS ISOCYANATE .Ensure good ventilation during drying. Always keep doors and windows fully opened during application and drying. Work only in areas of good ventilation. Irritating to eyes and skin. Do not use on large surface areas inside or small confined spaces. Professional operators may apply to large surface areas inside or in small confined spaces, provided air supplied breathing apparatus is used. Avoid inhalation of vapours and spray mist. Where practicable, this should be achieved by the use of local exhaust ventilation and good general ventilation. In case of insufficient ventilation during spraying wear suitable respiratory equipment, a suitable cartridge mask should be worn provided the filter is changed regularly. When applying paint it is advisable to wear eye protection. In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water keeping eyelids apart and seek medical advice. Contains COBALT CARBOXYLATE, May produce an allergic reaction. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Wear gloves while working. In case of contact with skin, use soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner. Dry sanding, flame cutting and or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and or hazardous fumes. Wet sanding should be used wherever possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used. All respiratory equipment must meet an appropriate approved standard. Do not breathe vapour. If inhalation causes physical discomfort move to fresh air. If discomfort persists or any breathing difficulty occurs, move to fresh air & seek medical advice by showing container label. Harmful if swallowed seek medical advice immediately. Care must be taken when transporting paint. Keep container tightly closed and upright to prevent leakage when not in use. Store in a cool and dry place. In the event of an accident, collect spillage using sand or earth. Do not empty into drains or watercourses. Very toxic to aquatic organisms. May cause long term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Dispose of any paint waste in accordance with the appropriate environment quality regulations. Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    New or Bare Surfaces: New or bare surfaces must be clean, dry and free from all defects. Rub down using a suitable abrasive paper and then dust off. Apply 2-3 coats of Dulux WoodCare Sealer. Scuff the surface, dust off and clean with petrol wipe. Always scuff the surface along the grains.
    Previously Painted Surfaces: Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from all defective or poorly adhering material. Rub down using a suitable abrasive paper, dust off and clean with petrol wipe. Apply 2-3 coats of Dulux WoodCare Sealer if required. Scuff the surface, dust off and clean with petrol wipe. Always scuff the surface along the grains.

    Clean all equipment immediately after use with Mineral Turpentine Thinner
