Product Description

Dulux Woodcare Matt Lacquer is used as top coat on a sealed wood surface to provide protection and smooth finish.

Application Description

Apply 2-3 coats of Dulux Woodcare Matt Lacquer and leave for 3-4 hours between coats

Health & Safety

Highly flammable. Harmful by inhalation & in contact with skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not breath solvent vapour/spray. Keep container in a well-ventilated place. Irritating to eyes, respiratory system & skin. Keep away from food, drink & animal feeding stuff. Contains Aromatic and Aliphatic solvents. Wear suitable protective clothing and gloves. Avoid contact with eyes & skin. In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water & seek medical advice. Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Wear suitable protective equipment during sanding. Dry sanding of the dry paint film will give rise to paint and wooden dust, such type of surfaces should be sanded with wet sanding paper. If swallowed rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious) & show this container or label to a medical practitioner. In case of fire use foam, dry powder, AFFF, CO2 never use water. Is very toxic to aquatic organism and may cause long term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Do not empty into drains. Dispose of any paint in accordance with the appropriate Environment Regulations. This container is only for paint use. Safety Data Sheet available for professional users on request.

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    New or Bare Surfaces: New or bare surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dirt, grease and wax. Scuff the surface along the grains of the wood and dust off.
    Previously Painted Surfaces: Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from all defective and poorly adhering material, dirt, grease and wax. Scuff the surface along the grains of the wood and dust off.
  • 2. Cleaning
    Clean all equipment immediately after use with ICI Dulux Woodcare special thinner
  • 3. Storing
    Store paint in dry conditions and protect from extreme temperatures.
