Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
Clean down the surface, removing all dirt, grime, mould and salts from the masonry surface. Rinse with clean water. If mould is present, treat with a dilute bleach solution. Allow this to stand on the masonry surface for at least 4 hours before rinsing with clean water.

Allow the surface to dry. Application on plaster which still contains high water contents limits the effectiveness of this process.

Apply by brush or spray a generous coat of Masonry water repellent. When spraying, the lowest possible pressure should be used to avoid excessive atomization and achieve maximum wetting.
