    Product Description

    Dulux Velvet Touch Soft Sheen Emulsion is an ultra
    luxurious water-based interior paint with the smooth touch of velvet.
    Recommended for interior surfaces only.

    Application Description

    After surface preparation apply 3-4 coats of Dulux Velvet Touch Soft Sheen. Ensure 3-4 hours for drying between successive coats. Use of any other paint apart from specially formulated Dulux Velvet Touch may deviate the desire finish and make it hard to recondition. STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. Contains no added lead or mercury

    Keep out of the reach of children. Do not breathe solvent vapour/spray. Use only in well ventilated areas. Safety data sheet available for professional user on request. Contains HETEROCYCLIC AMINE PESTICIDE. May produce an allergic reaction. Avoid contact with skin or eyes. If swallowed seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label. Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc. of paint films may generate hazardous dust and/or fumes. Wet sanding/ flatting should be used wherever possible. Work in well ventilated areas. Use suitable personal protection equipment. Do not empty into drains. Do not use empty container for storing food. Remove as much paints as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning. Keep away from food, drinks and animal feed. Store in a cool and shaded place. Container must be in a secure, upright position and be tightly closed. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. In case of contact with skin wash immediately with soap and water or a proprietary skin cleanser. Do not use solvents or thinners. Wear eye/hand protection. Avoid release to environment. Dispose of used container in compliance with local regulation.

    Tips & Advice

    • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
      New or Bare Surfaces: New or bare surfaces must be clean, dry and free from efflorescent salts. Remove all loose, defective or poorly adhering material by rubbing down using a suitable abrasive paper or stiff fibre brush and dust off. Treat any areas affected by mould, lichens, algae & moss with bleach. After priming new surfaces with Dulux Aqua Prime, fill the surface with Dulux Wall Putty. Apply primer on a wall putty before application of topcoat. Previously Painted Sound Surfaces: Remove all loose, defective or poorly adhering material by rubbing down using a suitable abrasive paper or stiff fibre brush and dust off. Spot prime and fill the surface as described above if required. Powdery, Dusty and Cracked Surfaces: Make good minor defects. For larger holes and cracks, use sand and cement mixture. Allow the surface to dry. Prepare surface as described above.
    • 2. Cleaning
      Clean all equipment with clean water immediately after use
    • 3. Storing
      Store paint in dry conditions and protect from extreme temperatures. Container must be in a secure, upright position and be tightly closed.
