Product Description
Dulux Velvet Touch Marble is acrylic based interior premium quality paint. It is a part of our special effects range. Inspired by the land of finest Marble Stone, creates the luxurious touch of marble finish on your walls. Marble is available in selected tintable Dulux colours and offers a range of trendy shades. It is recommended for interior use only.
Application Description
After surface preparation apply 3 coats of Dulux Velvet Touch Marble in required colour with Trowel. For the first coat, ensure complete deposition and completely hiding the surface. Ensure 6-8 hours of drying between each coat. For the second coat, apply a thin layer of product in a random manner. For the last coat, apply very thin layer of the product smoothening it at the same time on the surface with the blade of the trowel. Buff to attain satin or gloss finish. Sand the surface between the three coats. Please refer to the product brochure or visit our website for the detail application procedure instructions or the demo video for the best results. It is advisable to carry out small scale trials before application over large surface area. Ensure a slight overlap of sections while working to avoid demarcations of the finish. Avoid windy conditions in the room. Room temperature should ideally be between 20°C to 35°C. Very hot and dry conditions are to be avoided. Contains no added lead or mercury. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not breathe solvent vapour/spray. Use only in well ventilated areas. Safety data sheet available for professional user on request. Avoid contact with skin or eyes. If swallowed seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label. Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc. of paint films may generate hazardous dust and/or fumes. Wet sanding/ flatting should be used wherever possible. Work in well ventilated areas. Use suitable personal protection equipment. Do not empty into drains. Do not use empty container for storing food. Remove as much paints as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning. Keep away from food, drinks and animal feed. Store in a cool and shaded place. Container must be in a secure, upright position and be tightly closed. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. In case of contact with skin wash immediately with soap and water or a proprietary skin cleanser. Do not use solvents or thinners. Wear eye/hand protection. Avoid release to environment. Dispose of used container in compliance with local regulation.
Tips & Advice

1. Preparing the SurfacesNew or bare surfaces must be clean, dry and free from efflorescent salts. Remove all loose, defective or poorly adhering material by rubbing down using a suitable abrasive paper or stiff fiber brush and dust off. Treat any areas affected by mould, lichens, algae & moss with bleach. After priming new surfaces with Dulux Aqua Prime, fill the surface with Dulux Wall Putty. Apply primer on a wall putty before application of topcoat. Previously Painted Sound Surfaces: Remove all loose, defective or poorly adhering material by rubbing down using a suitable abrasive paper or stiff fiber brush and dust off. Spot prime and fill the surface as described above if required.
Powdery, Dusty and Cracked Surfaces: Make good minor defects. For larger holes and cracks, use sand and cement mixture. Allow the surface to dry. Prepare surface as described above. -
2. CleaningClean all equipment with clean water immediately after use
