Product Description

Dulux Weathershield Powerflexx is a top quality elastomeric exterior wall paint with highly advanced Triple Defence Technology that stretches more to cover 10X* wider cracks, providing water repellence and protection against extreme weather conditions.

Application Description

Apply 3-4 coats of Dulux Weathershield Powerflexx with 2-3 hrs of interval in between coats. Thinning ratio must be followed as per application procedure.

Health & Safety

Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from sources of ignition. In case of fire use foam, dry powder, AFFF or CO2 fire extinguisher. Never use water. Keep container tightly closed and upright to prevent leakage when not in use. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. When applying paint it is advisable to wear eye protection and suitable gloves. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water keeping eyelids apart and seek medical advice. Remove splashes from skin, use soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner. Work only in areas of good ventilation. When using product inside, always keep doors and windows fully open during application and drying. A suitable cartridge mask should be worn when rubbing down. The product is harmful and if swallowed seek medical advice. Dry sanding, flame cutting and or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and or hazardous fumes. Wet sanding should be used wherever possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used. Do not breathe vapour or sanding dust. Toxic by inhalation. If inhalation causes physical discomfort, move to fresh air. If discomfort persists or any breathing difficulty occurs seek medical advice and show container label. Care must be taken when transporting paint. Do not store by hanging on a hook. Protect from extremes of temperature. Store in a cool and dry place. In the event of an accident, collect spillage using sand or earth. Do not empty into drains or watercourses. It is very toxic to aquatic organisms and may cause long term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Dispose of any paint waste in accordance with the appropriate environment quality regulations. Safety Data Sheet available for professional users on request. Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    New or bare surfaces: New or bare surfaces must be clean, dry and free from efflorescent salts. Sand the surface with suitable sand paper or sandstone to make the plaster surface smooth. Dust off throughly. For best result apply a single coat of Dulux Exterior Crack Bridging Primer (Refer to PDS for correct application procedure). Let the surface to dry for 2-3 hrs and then do topcoat application.
    If more smoothness is required after priming with Dulux Exterior Crack Bridging Primer, fill the surface with Dulux Exterior Acrylic Putty (Refer to PDS for correct application procedure). Let the surface to dry for 2-3 hrs. Sand the surface with suitable sandpaper, dust off and apply a single coat of Dulux Exterior Crack Bridging Primer (Refer to PDS for correct application procedure) before application of topcoat.

    Clean all equipment with clean water immediately after use
